Reset PS2 system via controller?

Hey All,

Is there any way to reset the system using only the controller (pressing keys at the same time, I guess?).

or better yet, is there a "hot-key" that takes you back to HDLoader screen after you finished a game, rather than being forced to reset the system and load up HDLoader again? (without getting up from the couch!)

You can't do that you have to shut down and restart the console every time you want to play another game on HDLoader.

I read in a thread today that R1+R2+L1+L2+Start+Select will reset you back to HDLoader. I don't think it's true but give it a shot.

if your ps2 has the built in IR reciever you can use the sony dvd remote w/ power button to turn your ps2 off and on from your couch

Guys, are you aware that this is the uLaunchELF forum ?
And are you also aware that not one of the posts in this thread has even a remote connection to uLaunchELF ?

Either get this topic connected to uLE, somehow, or take it elsewhere.

OK. Then howabout a reset in uLaunch ?

Because I can use the PowerOff function ... is there a remote possibility that a reset can be made ?

Or at least a re-launch of uLaunch

Just assign a button to LaunchELF, then you can make a reset.

no. its not possible, unless u do a hardware mod.
A simple one i did (extra wires to a button on the back on the controller)

R1+R2+L1+L2+Start+Select will do a SOFT reset in most Square-Enix games taking you back to the title screen.
