Possible to use Ar Max against itself? (maybe possible new concept)

Eh.. I also have the same problem , my disk says 3.71 If I can get some help it'd really be appreciated =]

Also, I tried using 3.70 codelist, and I get a red border across the screen on the main menu when i go to max memory. Once, again if I could get a response that would be appreciated, many apologies for reviving a old thread.

Edit: After another read through with this thread, I figured that I didn't "uncrush" the .max file from that 3.70 package. I crushed it onto memory card and it's up and workin'! A little reading do you some good. lol

I bought AR MAX to be able to load homebrew on my PS2 (Slim), I read that the Evolution version has the media player on it, mine doesn't lol ; ;

That's what lead me here after a lot of reading on all the posts I'm gettin the idea it's not a total loss, I just need to have the proper codes in and I can boot my ELFs using the cheat code feature.

I've downloaded all the attachments and none have worked for me, I'm assuming it's because my version and info is:

VER 3.71

aae6cf79994a2d5c1edc5d18bdc1775b *SLUS_200.90

The highest version I've seen listed is v3.70.

Has anyone made a v3.71 or would anyone be willing to help me make a codlist.bin file to work with this version? I can send the SLUS_200.90.BIN file if needed to create one. Or instructions on how I can make it myself, I'd greatly appriciate any feed back, thank you! =D

I got it to work! It seems I had gotten a few files mixed around, I was lucky a friend had let me barrow his PS2 w/ FreeMCBoot and uLE installed on it.

The v3.70 had worked for my v3.71 AR Max Evo.

I was able to setup as an FTP and make quick changes to the memory card files, after a few hours of messing around I got it working, I was able to use AR Max Evo without Media Player to boot FreeMCBoot and load it up onto my Slim PS2 Memory Card.

I wanted to say Thankyou to everyone that put in the time and shared their findings with all of us, this was an excellent turn of events – now I can watch my Divx movies off my network shares on my TV lol

I recently found an PS2 Slim in the Electronix Disposal Container at work.

Brought it back home tested it and... VOILA! Still running like a champ!

I than found a copy of AR MAX online at amazon...

After Reading the Entire post tonight, i am really hoping that my particullar Version of ARMAX is working with FreeMC Boot!

PS2 Version: 70004 PAL

ARMAX Version: PAL 3.50

I try'd these files from a tutorial without Mediaplayer... but the PS2 kills itself with a white boarder around the screen after the final hit on "X"...

I reaaly hope someone is reading this ...

I have a PS2 SCHP 90001, 8A (NTSC). I have ARMax, but it is not the EVO version.
I was wondering if it is possible to use codes with that version to boot Ulaunch(elf).
The SLUS of ARMax is SLUS.200.90.
This version does not have Max Media Player.
I hope someone can help answer my question.
