A few nights ago I decided to to transfer all of my music from my PC to my PS2 internal HDD so I can listen to it when my PC is powered off, and not to be dependent on host:/ . It all went like usually, now and then I get the "Paste Failed" error, when that happens i push SELECT to exit File Manager, then select folders which haven't pasted yet, and resume.
It all went fine untill it completed pasting "The Doors" folder. "The Dubliners" is supposed to be the nex one, but whenever I try to paste it, or even make a new folder named "The Dubliners", i get either Paste Failed error or MakeNewDir Failed error! I can create or paste folders with ANY other name, I even tried "The Dubliner", but it won't let "The Dubliners" in. As if ther already is a folder with such a name, although I can't see it with uLE or with FileZilla or Win7 FTP client.
Any ideas? Could it be that my PS2 hates listening to the Dubliners? Or, more probably, is it an internal HDD error? Maybe it made the folder as invisible and there is no help now unless i delete the partition? I wouldn't want to do that, I hate copying all over again...
Any help appreciated
EDIT: I just realised that at some point, rougly after 120MBs of file data, whatever I try to paste will fail. That is, after the point where the Doors folder exists. That is some 6GB of my +Media partition, which is 25GB. There is about 19GB free, so there's no way that the partition is full. The Dubliners folder cannot be created regardless of this.
