    Sorry for my english, but i only know a bite of it :P

    i want make a program for connect with the ftp server of uLaunchElf and view de save files with it real name = that ulaunchelf. i look in the inside of the save files, but i don't find any text plain with the name.

    and the icon, how i can view it?windows cannot open it.

    The gamesave titles are not stored as 'plain' text (meaning ascii).

    Instead they are stored in a format known as 'Shift-JIS', using 2 bytes per character to allow for japanese character sets as well as european. The 32 character gamesave title is stored as 64 bytes starting at offset 192 (0xC0) of the file "icon.sys", which should exist in every normal gamesave folder.

    Of course not. The format is PS2 specific.

    You can only view such files in programs specially made to deal with them, such as 'mcIconSysGen' or 'Ps2SaveBuilder'
