Search for a uLE iso, or make it yourself, burn it, boot it and then make a folder BOOT on memory card and in there put the elf with the name BOOT.ELF (case sensitive). And that's all. Good luck!

IF you are worried about the order in which the folders are shown, then you can stop worrying, because that doesn't matter.

The only thing that does matter is that the folder is created in the root directory of the memory card, and that its name has the correct spelling. Here casing IS significant, so it must be "BOOT", not "Boot" or "boot" or any other variation. Character case is significant for all file and folder names on a PS2 (unlike a Windows PC), so make sure to get it right.

Worthless? I guess it depends on your definition. All the PS2 needs is to run the ELF file.

That's perfectly normal. It's how the Sony browser displays any folder which doesn't contain a valid "icon.sys" file and some icon file it refers to. You can use a program called "mcIconSysGen" to make such files of your own. (Just google for the program, and you'll find it.)

You can also ignore the problem, and stick to using the uLE browser instead. The lack of those extra files only affects the Sony browser, nothing else.

also, just to clarify, you can't run the program from the PS2 browser. running the files directly from memory card needs a modchip, or the PS2 memory card exploit, which can only be used with a fat PS2.
