You can do it this way, but it is not how I would do it.

That is unless you like burning a new disc every single time you want to change something (apart from the LAUNCHELF.CNF).
I would move everything, including uLE itself, into a work folder on a USB drive, together with an initial LAUNCHELF.CNF (to avoid harming your normal uLE setup by these experiments). Then all work in developing the future disc setup would be contained in that work folder, until the time comes to prepare it for burning to disc.
uLE does not use device named "cdrom:". It uses a device named "cdfs:" instead, so that is the drive prefix you need to use.
STEP2-just copy it to my usb via ulaunch
STEP3-open it in note pad and edit
if my wallpaper was in usb(mass0:) and in DVD i edit it to cdrom: (i wana put my wallpaper in dvd)
same process for the elf file change there path from mass0 to cdrom
For disc use I prefer to name it "LNCHELF.CNF", for a first config page.
STEP4-rename the LAUNCHELF.CNF TO ??????
Additional config page files, if you have them, should then be named "LNCHELF1.CNF" etc.
But if you are sure this disc image will never need to use 8+3 filename rules (as in CD conversions) then you can safely use the normal filenames, like "LAUNCHELF.CNF" and "LAUNCHELF1.CNF" etc.
That should work
STEP5:put that all APPS,SYSTEM.CNF,LAUNCH.CNF,AND THEME,ROM,AVI FILE,MP3 IN the root folder and chose master dvd rom in CD_DVD GEN
STEP6-convert the iml to iso
Why in heaven's name would you do that ?
STEP7-BURN IT AT 2X
Are you using crap disc quality ?
Good quality discs will not work well if 'overexposed' by super-slow burning.
No change is needed unless you change the name of the boot elf.
now some problem
1.is there any change to system.cnf or leave it as it is.?
If yes could you tell me whole structure.
And in that case it is only the filename in the BOOT2 directive that needs to be changed.
That depends on the content of this DVD image.
2. If my dvd is ready can i upload on net so that other user also can use that with this web link so that the can made their own DVD
If it has any copyrighted material, such as NES or SNES ROM files for commercial games or original BIOS files, then you are not allowed to upload it here at psx-scene or to use a link to it here, even if the image itself is elsewhere.
You are allowed to name your own files to anything you please, though it makes sense to use something descriptive that will not be mistaken for other releases.
3.is it illegal to put a name to that dvd when releasing ....
i wana name it cruiser pack so people get that name
