Then I find it surprising that you haven't even tried looking for it properly.

In this same forum where you just posted this thread, there is also another thread, a 'sticky' one that stays near the top of the list, which is entitled "Release thread for uLaunchELF support files". In the third post of that thread you will find the releases of two different german LNG files (one using german special characters as allowed by our current font).

Just store the LNG file on some media where uLE can access it (memory card is recommended for standard boot), and then use the uLE submenu "Configure/Startup Settings.../Language File: " to browse to and activate the new LNG file.

Most of the LNG files lack a few of the new strings added in recent uLE versions, so those strings will still appear in english. But you can change that yourself if you wish. Just take the "lang.h" file from the uLE sources, and copy-paste the new lines in it into the "german.lng" file, and then make the translation as you please. Just be careful to follow the same 'format' as other translations in that LNG, and make sure that the file is saved as standard ascii text.

    Best regards: dlanor
