We might consider adding a master login and password, but you can forget about real multi-user accounts. That's just not going to happen.Originally Posted by qrange
This FTP server is only intended for homebrew use on a private LAN, and if you connect it to the internet without any port-blocking firewall or router to protect you, that is decidedly poor judgement on your part. And that goes regardless of whether or not the FTP server has passwords implemented.

well I only got a switch, no router and no firewall..
pc is downloading torrents all the time and i don't wanna interrupt that.
BTW, my ISP is giving me only one IP address so hopefully others cannot access my ps2.
I've got an idea, could you add an option 'allowed IP' so that only computer with that IP can access ftp server? hope it isn't too complicated..![]()

one more thing, if the gateway is set to pc address (running winxp), others shouldn't be able to access?
mask is 255.255.255.0, so maybe only those in the same subnet?
