I just talked with dangwoot (the guy who came up with the idea of installing fcmb for people for free ) and I am also going to be offering the service. I am located in the Peoria-LaSalle-Peru area in Illinois, and will ship to and from any of the 48 states. If you need to install Free MCBoot on a slim PS2, you need either a modchip (expensive, my process will cost about $5 shipping total), or access to a fat PS2 (most people dont). Or, if you have a fat PS2 and don't know how to do the exploit this is for you. What I am offering is a service that will unlock your PS2 to the homebrew scene, and allow you to run the latest homebrew programs on your memory card from ANY ps2 in the US/Canada. I only ask that you pay for shipping to me, and send along a flat rate of $2.99 to cover the shipping back to you. I accept personal checks or PayPal. I am not looking for profits, I just want more people to have access to a fully modded PS2 and start transformin those n00bz! (lol, jk.) My Guarantee: I will install ANY program to the memory card you send to me, whether it be the latest uLaunchELF, PS2Link, or ESR beta. If I fail to return your PS2 memory card in the same condition or in a better working order, I will replace the card free of charge, back up your current saves, and still install the programs you requested. Why move it?

The service seems legitimate enough to me just as for dangwoot, and the FreeVAST forum is the correct place for it, since FMCB is the key to booting any of the softwares they'd install to an MC. And 'Buy/Sell/Trade' doesn't really fit this activity, as they provide a free service, apart from the postage expenses.

The only non-legit usage here is the post spamming, which has been stopped by closing this thread. So I see nothing wrong in leaving the other thread in the FreeVAST forum, where it really belongs.

An even better idea might be for one of us to start a new thread specifically intended for this kind of service, with a 'first post' maintained by us so as to contain the contact addresses and region coverage (both geographic and console regions) of those who've volunteered for providing such services.

Then both the existing threads could be merged into the new one, though we'd probably have to 'steal' dangwoots post to make that 'first post' I mentioned, as not even moderator powers can alter the post timestamps.
