filebrowser option is gone?
filebrowser option is gone? –
I started up ulf but all I see in the default screen is SELECT: CONFIG. I'm pretty sure Filebrowser should be assigned to a button as a default but I'm not sure what's going on. I need to erase some files, please help!
When starting uLE v3.80 without any CNF file, you will have a menu containing two entries, approximately like this:

One way to get rid of that file is to make a boot CD containing the CNF from the release package. This will then be used instead of the CNF on MC, and when that boot completes you can use the FileBrowser to delete the old CNF on the MC.
Even without a boot CD you can also reassign the FileBrowser to a button, simply by pressing SELECT, and using the configuration menu to set the entry for one of the launch keys. That will bring up the configuration version of the filebrowser, allowing you to choose a program for that launch key, which may be either an external ELF program, or an internal program found in the "MISC/" pseudodevice of the browser. In there you will find the internal program named "FileBrowser", and choosing this will cause it to be assigned to the launch key you were setting. Next exit from the configuration meny with the OK command, and you'll be back in the main menu, with the new FileBrowser entry available.

Thanks a lot, dlanor. I was so tired in the morning that I didn't even bother checking MISC/. I got everything working now. Thanks again!
