First off, I have to repeat again that I don't know any version guaranteed to work on a PS3. But I did make one version myself specifically to get around PCSX2 compatibility problems, and perhaps it might help for PS3 as well. But this is just a hopeful guess. Others too have made some 'hacked' versions for various purposes, which may also have a good (and different) chance of working. But the one attached to this post is one that I made myself for PCSX2 testing.

There is absolutely no guarantee that this can work for your PS3, but it is certainly worth trying.

Btw: you did mention using some VERY old LaunchELF versions (from before the creation of uLE) alternately to the newer versions. I hope you realize that these versions have completely incompatible configurations, so you need to remove the old LAUNCHELF.CNF file before installing another elf so distant from the previous when it comes to version. The newer elfs will recognize that an old file is unsuitable for use, and will then use only default values, but the oldest versions have no such protection at all, and may just randomly crash instead if used with a newer LAUNCHELF.CNF file.

And does that include shipping to my home in Stockholm, Sweden ?
Or how much would that add, on top of those prices ?
(Naturally assuming sufficient quality of packaging, so it arrives intact.)
