Nice one. :)
I'll use it, after the typo is gone. :D
I made a pack for my MC which are mapped to my shoulder-buttons and cross-linked to each other.
-uLE 4.16 + your Skin
-ESR 8a+
-SMS 2.8 Rev.3
-Argon 0.6.0Beta
I never must turn off my PS2, to get back to another app. :)
AND heres the re-updated Media Skin. I've replaced the font I used to match the rest of the skins and fixed the typo in JPEG Viewer (Thanks Remax)
yea these icons really dont look as good to me either but im going to put more work into these ones when I have time but for now they will have to do. All the other icons here were a long line of skin development so naturally they look better than the ones I just did.
Played a little with it
Variation of Dragonfire's skin in Horizontal format. R1 switches .cnf files as does left and right. Programs are listed in the frequency I use them. Everything but ule is in the zip. Thow the contents of the boot folder where ule is. Both .cnf file use the relative file location method only available with the most recent ule versions.
I have also made an Icon for Xploder HDTV player. If anyone wants the psd for it let me know.
I will expand upon this idea and make a three row horizontal, and 45 degree angle version in the future. My goal was to only map the face buttons to the icons, so as not to confuse users with too many options at once, but to fit all my most commonly used shortcuts/apps as big as possible. The skin and .cnf for every icon method I asked dragonfire to make proved simple, but took up way too much MC space. It also took a while to get to the correct icon before it could be launched. So why didn't I just make a single skin? Well, I have only wireless controllers that require me to hit a face or shoulder button to wake-up on start up of the PS2. So I left the left shoulder buttons available for me to whail on as the PS2 starts up.
Thanks everyone for the help and inspiration. Thanks specifically to dragonfire for doing most of the work on this skin and dlanor for coding this cool functionality into ule!
@urbigbro
Been waiting for you to post what you came up with. For a while there I thought you had given up. lol. Your skin looks pretty good, hope you got every thing you wanted from it. Thanks for posting.
i thought I should upload the PSDs for the horizontal menu skin I made from dragonfire's work. This file also includes the Xploder HDTV player icon I custom made. Al icons are on different layers so they can be manipulated however you please.
Since FMCB has come out I haven't really got into making more skins, sorry if anyone was waiting to see the other variations I was talking about before. They most likely won't happen.
