HDL Dumb doesn't seem to be able to see past the first 130GB of my 320GB HDD. Is it possible move some or all the partitions that have games or data to the area HDL Dumb can't see, so it can see more of the empty space?

I'm using HDL Server via OPL.

sounds like your HD is formatted in 28 bit but you could use the whole HD capacity if you format it in 48 bit
    Just a suggestion

    V10 SCPH-50001 with Network adapter SCPH-10281 500 G HD
    PSP 3000 9G 6.20 PRO CFW Perm
Unofficial FMCB v1.8C OPL self compiled HD and SMB preferred
Is how all good gaming systems came to be

So, I'm gonna have to put the drive in my computer and backup all the data and reformat it?

    uLaunchelf says it's 300GB.
HDL_dumb says it has 130GB max.

I recall seeing something to the effect that HDL_Dumb can only see the first 160GB of a drive.

You could try out hdl_dump_helper_gui_2.2 and install games with this it is in download section above and use the right ELF
or use OPL it is hdld_svr_086 version if using OPL

I already have helper gui 2.2. I'll try that. thanks. Also, are you saying I should not use OPL, I should use a different OPL, or are you saying I should use a different ELF entirely?

helper gui doesn't seem to see the PS2. I'll try using the HDL server outside of OPL.

change it in settings to 086 OPL should be recognized then by OPL it uses that code for inbuilt sever
IF your HD is formatted correctly should show all space

Do you know what would cause uLaunchELF to report 300GB?

Yea most likely you did format it correctly it reads 48 bit and 28 bit but format but reads 48 first so you have the space
    and it recognized it

most likely if you use the correct sever and GUI it will see it too
