[langtitle=pt]uLaunchELF não arranca pelo MC[/langtitle] –

[lang=pt]Bom dia pessoal,
A minha PS2 é a "PS2 Slim SCPH-70004".
Obrigado a todos pela atencao

why dont you install FMCB via SM ?
-
01-23-2011,04:41 AM
[lang=pt]O que significa via SM?
Edit:
SwapMagic, correcto?

As you guessed, having the SwapMagic disc sensor blocking installed can prevent ESR from recognizing an ESR disc properly.
You can also check this problem if you run uLaunchELF, with the option "Disc Control: ON".
uLE will then display detected disc type at top left of the uLE menu screen whenever you insert a new disc. And it is only if this display includes the word "ESR" (after inserting an ESR-patched disc) that the ESR program will have any chance of booting that disc.
Btw: The automatic translation from your language makes your description of the problem very hard to understand, especially when it comes to the details of file and folder names as used on your MC.
Your latest posts seem to be saying that you are booting uLaunchELF from the BOOT folder, and run ESR as "SMBOOT0.ELF", even though that name is only functional in a folder named "SWAPMAGIC", which you never mentioned at all. (You did mention the "SwapMagic" program, but never the folder "mc0:/SWAPMAGIC/".)
NB: The normal placement of ESR is in the same "BOOT" folder as uLaunchELF, and using the filename "ESR.ELF".
It is only when stored in that way that the normal way of launching ESR either from FMCB or from uLE will work properly.
NB2: Using a SwapMagic boot disc to launch ESR is completely futile, as it will then start with a non-ESR disc in the tray.
If the ESR version is the one intended to launch a disc directly, that will obviously fail with the SwapMagic boot disc present.
Please be more careful in how you describe MC content, and if at all possible try to write a reply in english to describe the precise MC storage structure, as the automatic translation tends to turn such descriptions into misleading nonsense.

Good, because with an english post we don't have to worry about the translation program messing up the important details.
i have this files in my mc now:
mc0:/BEEEXEC-SYSTEM/osdmain.elf
mc0:/BEEEXEC-SYSTEM/FMCB.ico
mc0:/BEEEXEC-SYSTEM/icon.sys
mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF
mc0:/BOOT/ESR.ELF
mc0:/BOOT/HDLOADER.ELF
mc0:/BOOT/SMS.ELF
mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.icn
mc0:/BOOT/icon.sys
The content of these folders looks perfectly normal for an FMCB install made without using the "Multi Version" command. So your FMCB might not boot on some other PS2 models than your own. But on your own console it should work fine.
Since you do have FMCB installed, I assume that the file "mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF" is really uLaunchELF.
mc0:/SWAPMAGIC/SMBOOT0.ELF (i change this path after you tell me), but the problem continue, but this
But if you have FMCB installed, and intend to use ESR, then you should not use the SwapMagic boot disc at all anymore. Except when you want to boot one of your old backup discs, which were made without the ESR-patch needed for a backup to work with ESR.
Such old backup discs are the only thing for which you should use SwapMagic,
once you have the ability to instead boot FMCB.
For booting homebrews and running uLE you should just boot with empty disc tray.
And then you can insert ESR-patched backup discs and boot them either from FMCB or from uLE (using the uLE built-in FileBrowser command "MISC/PS2Disc").
mc0:/SYS-CONF/FMCB_CFG.ELF
mc0:/SYS-CONF/FREEMCB.CNF
mc0:/SYS-CONF/icon.sys
mc0:/SYS-CONF/LAUNCHELF.CNF
mc0:/SYS-CONF/sysconf.icn
mc0:/SYS-CONF/USBD.IRX
mc0:/SYS-CONF/USBHDFSD.IRX
This folder too looks perfectly normal to me.
I think part of your problem lies in continuing to use the SwapMagic boot disc instead of booting FMCB with empty disc tray, and I also suspect that you are still using the SwapMagic sensor blocking 'keys' which may prevent proper disc change/insert recognition as needed by FMCB and uLE in order to know when ESR is needed for a new disc.
Your posts so far also leave it unclear whether you have fully understood the need to patch every backup ISO using the ESR patcher program before burning that ISO to disc.
Backups that are not patched in this fashion will never work with ESR.
