    Hello there

Here I have a 'Crystal Chip' mod with 2 MB flash memory integrated. Any chance to see a support to this? I's referred as * dffs:/ *

    Thanks you Devs!

Sorry, but adding a separate device driver for a specific modchip is not reasonable. Especially since I do not have access to any console with such a chip for testing.

I also think that there would be serious risk of users messing up their CC setups (which do seem rather 'sensitive') if they have free access to a device intended only for internal use by the firmware. Other chips like the DMS4 also have flash storage space, but I feel that the same reasoning applies to them, so I do not intend to implement access to such flash space in uLE.

It would make a lot more sense to add support for "rom0:" and "rom1:" as they actually do exist in all PS2/PStwo consoles, regardless of modchips.

    Best regards: dlanor
