I still hope that this kind of things will be implemented by someone else ...
Yeah, It's not an OpenSource for nothing, right? But EEUG is and will always be the main man. BTW, I updated the sms website (http://sms.psx-scene.com) so it's up2date. (Nothing changed actually:P Just 1.5 to 1.6)
Great Job EEUG. I'll check it out right away
Well, I wasn't really complaining about this. I was just curious why my home compiled version can do it perfectly for LaunchELF v3.45, while the precompiled one from your site could not...

Thanks for your hard work, and as always,

@dlanor: thanks for your compile with LaunchELF support, it's working for me too. Strangely I can't reproduce the progressively elusive subdirectory bug (Bixente's report) using your version.
I like how the SMS balls routine is private, it allows an easy way to recognize official releases from EEUG.
very nice to see this so soon. you got in before me BigMichiel i'm glad, as i don't have any time until tonight. the website is meant to be very easy to update didn't even need to add the download link, did you?
some stats: the sms.psx-scene.com page gets on average 50 visitors every day, 10 - 15 of whom are return visitors. 150 pages are served daily. most popular page is the screenshots.
i'd bet that far more people come straight here though.
it will be nice to check this out fully when i get home tonight. very nice feature to boot something on exit. i'll definately be checking out the source code tonight to see how much has changed.

Well, my PS2SDK libs naturally contain all the improvements that were developed for LaunchELF. So when I compile other programs, they too get some of those improvements. I'm not sure what that bug really involved, but it's just possible that some of our changes fixed it...

Did you try to reproduce that bug with the official build too ?
And if so, what were the results ?

I compiled 1.6 from SVN (haven't tried the "official" 1.6 release) and I can't seem to reproduce that bug either... everything is working just fine here (from host and HDD at least)...
Could this be some kind of bug in EEUG's PS2SDK or something?
Furatudo aka HellHitZ
I'm having problems connecting over the network. I'm using LaunchELF 3.45 and RadHost Client 1.5. I can see/copy/do whatever with the files fine in LaunchELF, but when I try to activate network support in SMS, the icon for the network drive never appears... any ideas?
@dlanor: ...the only difference between my "home version" and that one from SVN is that "public" version does not contain code to display "About" screen and "Version" one (version number and balls). Otherwise they are fully identical (well, my PS2SDK is a bit outdated, so binary file can also be slightly different). "Directory browsing problem" is not yet reproduceable here (I've tried it with the same binary from my site both with host (ps2client) and HDD (there I have 3 directory levels with some 100 test files in them ). Any research will be really appreciated...
Thanks ***EEUG*** great work.
