Well, there are two options
is that the better idea (I doubt about) or nobody else have a different one (except Rathunter )...???

Personally I dont want to compare SMS to PS2R for some reasons, one of each there is no competition, and that project was dropped...or this one is that or the other...this will drive nowhere, with all respect.
I'm doing all comparisions to a Home DVD/DIVX certified player and will do all possible to help SMS to be and advanced and professional player for Ps2, using its advantages minimizing drawbacks ...

Definetely your art and explanation is better, clear and more complete
Toggle audio would be better to be an option while playing (there are not a lot of movies with multiple streams)

Personally I prefer up-down instead of X & Sq, cause is more intuitive, anyway It won't affect much. And for Play mode, just play one/all specially for TV series...to play all chapters (movies) in the same folder or in the future play all songs if mp3 support will be implemented...
Really don't know how can affect toggling system / interlacing, I was having BSoD in some cases with Bix64 GUI, maybe EEUG knows more about...

@EEUG - the external font is perfect! very crisp and clean! also, if the font is loaded from file, users can create new fonts using bitmap font builder!

Hi Mr worm ,


Are you running SMS from Memory Card (MC) using ulaunchelf 3.41n ? I found when i run the SMS.elf from MC using unlaunchelf 3.41n ,the SMS hangs at 'Initializing SMS' screen ,but no problem if i burn the SMS.elf on CDR and boot from the CDR itself. Actually my method is copy the SMS.elf under mc0:/ and click circle button to run it .

I think it is useful to have these in a/the menu, because (1) the functionality is already in SMS and (2) there is no way to access it with the remote control as only button can be pressed at a time. Of course then the menu is not strictly a settings menu...

Is there anybody that would want Alphabetical Sorting OFF? Personally, I don't mind if OFF isn't an option.

I have all elfs in hdd0:\__boot\*.* and in Ulaunchelf is a must to have disc control option in OFF...check it pls...from MC same method should be applied

for now there is no reason to display files other than .avi (I like without the .avi) and sort wouldn't be an option, must be a default.
An optional use for RC would be great, don't know if dvd buttons could be applied or not...
