In older versions such problems could often be caused by misadjusted synch parameters, in the 'advanced' settings page for display settings. Possibly changes of these settings can cure such problems in the new version too.

Besides that this version veeery often have problems with usb, and stops responding. Sometimes with a debug screen, sometimes without. I haven't had such problems in previous versions.

Me neither, so v2.9 Rev.3 is the version I'm sticking to for now. The latest revision obviously needs some heavy debugging.

the latest (2.9r4) sms won't run for me at all, either from mc or mass
i've been using 2.9r2 with no problems for a few months now
any ideas why r4 won't work for me? all i get is a blank screen

Given the state of the current spanish translation, I corrected it some weeks ago and now decided to share it with you. Not much else to say, been testing it for a while so it's safe to use it.

Have fun with it, hopefully it will make SMS more friendly to spanish speakers

If the original author doesn't release a compilable copy of the source code of the latest version of SMS, no.

sms is too specifically written for ps2, there is no point in that.

if anything i'd rather expect to see linux mplayer ported over.

It would be really great if someone could make a PS2 Linux Live CD with mplayer only, the reason for this is so that the linux starup time could be reduced tremendously. Functions include, auto gui start up & auto mplayer startup, would be awesome.
