Ok, I'm a jackass. This post was originally me admitting to my noobness with network settings. I've since figured it out, so I'm taking the opportunity to reformat this post and just give a big thanks to anyone who has and continues to work on this wonderful app. You are very much appreciated!!
Ok, I've been racking my brain but I can't figure this out. I am trying to set up a wireless network from my ps2 to my router (and thus my pc) so that I can try streaming of video and mp3.
My router is set with the IP 192.168.1.1
I bought a wireless bridge adapter and set it up to connect to my wireless router with the following:
IP 192.168.1.101
Subnet 255.255.255.0
I can ping my wireless bridge from my pc using the IP I assigned it. My question now is what IP settings in uLaunchELF and/or SMS should I use? Are you supposed to use the same IP that you assigned the wireless bridge or a new IP on the same subnet as your router? What about default gateway? Is that your router? your wireless bridge? your pc?
This is confusing the hell out of me.
Just in case there are any other super-noobs out there like me: You set up any apps and the wireless bridge with same IP addressing scheme as anything else on your network but give them both the same IP address.
Peace.
