Recently, I switched to Windows Vista, and now my SMB shares don't work. Using SMS 2.0, I can view the directories, but when I start to play a standard xvid file, it locks up on "Detecting file format..."

Does it not work with Vista? Any help would be great.

@Zirekyle: ...no Vista here (and I'm doubting that I'll ever get one for that price )...

I did use vista with SMS samba client (1.9) and had no problem. I had Vista Ultimate installed on VMWare virtual machine and on my pc. It worked fine. Now I no longer use vista, even on VM (it's cr*p, slow as hell memory eater, not all drivers work fine, couldn't find drivers for some of my hardware - funny, because the "vista ready" app told me it should work fine).

Well... if it worked for you, then I guess it's not a Vista issue, most likely. Also, my Xbox and PS2 ftpability have been sketchy as of late. PS2 won't show directory listings sometimes, unless I refresh a bunch. Xbox will kill the connection after transfering like 17% of a file.

    Any clues, anyone?
