Virtual Dub DIVX doesn't work with SMS?
Virtual Dub DIVX doesn't work with SMS? –
SMS plays divx files, but when I encode movies in Virtual Dub and use the Divx codec, they play but they play about twice as fast and with no sound.
Theres only one Divx codec in Virtual Dub, it almost works, but doesn't quite. Are there some small changes that need to be made? Because it almost works.
I believe that you have to look up your settings on your dvd codec. Just use Home Theater, it works almost all of the time (as far as I know always)
Look up settings where? and how?
Got a link for Home Theater?
Check your audio codec settings.
Home Theater was already selected..
And what am I supposed to check in audio codec settings?
VirtualDub uses the codecs on your system, divx is not included with it. I suggest you install XviD (google koepi). In VirtualDub you need to set up the audio stream in the main program itself, not in the video codec.
Probably your audio is encoded in Microsoft's Windows Media Audio V1 or V2, which isn't supported by SMS.
good point, install the LAME MP3 audio codec...it works great with VirtualDub and SMS.
I installed "XviD-1.1.0 final build" from koepi, but in Vdub which one is it? I don't see anything new, just "XviD MPEG-4 Codec" and "DivX 5.2.1 Codec", but I had those before.
In audio compression I saw theres already Lame Mp3, so I'll use that next time.
