hi i have sms set up on my slim ps2 with a router and everthing is fine. works great.

i tried to set it up on my nephews pc using acrossover cable. it works as far as the connection goes. but when trying to play a video(1 i played on mine so I know the format is ok) it buffers for some time then comes up and stutters and then freezes up. his pc is not as good as the one i built for myself but it is a 2 gig amd with 2gig ddr memory. it has a 100meg onboard lan. i am using a 100meg crossover cable. to his slim ps2.(his slim ps2 is slightly older then mine by about 3 months) Doses any one know what could be causing this and what i could try to fix it. thank you
