    Hi folks.

Did anyone came across this? Starting Rev. 4 of SMS 2.9 the selection bar is missing and i find myself blindly feeling my way through my drives root to select a video

If theres any way i can fix this besides downgrading (previous version hangs alot on me) i'd be thrilled to know.

    Thanks in advance.

To answer your question,... No, I can still see the list.
Try to delete SMS's config, before you start it...

First of all thanks for your reply.
Well i tried tons of different configurations in order to debug this, i found that launching SMS from an usb key will make it work!
So, the bug appears only when launching from free mcboot menu.
I have no idea what causes this to happen
If only SMS was open source for this version.

    Doesn't happen here,...
Are you sure, your PS2 is completely free of mods?

Just Free Mcboot 1.8 installed, nothing more. I guess i'll try to format the MC and reinstall everything.

    EDIT:

Just came back from format MC and clean install. It's a no-go. Same bug. Don't know what else to do. I've also tried launching SMS through uLaunchELF to make sure it was not a fmcb bad link or something and got the same. It's most probably a bug from SMS code.

Summarizing: SMS.ELF (version 2.9 rev.4) stored and launched from Memory Card (located at /BOOT/SMS.ELF) won't show selection bar. While launching from usb key using both fmcb link and uLE will work perfectly.

    Thanks again for your time.
