i download sms v1.9 (cd image version) and it working fine. is it possible to include USBD.IRX in the cd as well so sms can play media from usb device?
thanks for any help
sms already has usbd.irx intergrated ....just enabled usb support under sms settings...
i manage to get the usb enabled, it detect my USb device but freeze at the loading the content of the USB.
Anyone know where i can get the Gt4 Usbd.irx?
My USB Drive had the same problem, but i get the Naplink USBD.irx (its named with other name) and worked.
Many USB drives stray far from the Mass Storage Protocol...u'll just have to try your luck with various USBD.IRX's. My transcend drive started working after a year of waiting when EP and Dlanor released the updated USB drivers in uLE a few months ago.
The current USBD.IRX, which is also merged into SMS, shouldn't have any influence at all on whether a device works or not, as the USBD only provides access to the USB bus in general and doesn't care or know at all about the kind of devices which are attached to it.
Dealing with the actual devices is the device drivers' task. (In this case usb_mass.irx)
The napalm driver may have caused certain devices to malfunction, as it had problems with various USB hubs (and some usb storage devices have internal hubs).
Anyway, I seriously doubt that exchanging the USBD is gonna make a difference when trying to get mass storage devices to work.
Wehre did you save the usbd.irx? i saved it in the folder mc0/SMS/

SMS as many other applications depends a lot of what drivers have been loaded previously and i think that this is more important than any *.irx you may load specifically for SMS, but you can always experiment anyway...
but i thought the manual said sms doesn't come with usbd.irx....
