  1. #1 Question Unable to read Divx/Xvid files in UDF DVD
    Eon83 Guest
    I have burn the SMS v1.7 (rev 5) to a CD and successfully boot it in my PS2 Slim.

    It is able to read
    -> CDFS/ISO File System Burned CD
    -> CDFS/ISO File System Burned DVD (Book-Type to DVD-ROM)

    But unable to read
    --> UDF File System Burned DVD (Book-Type to DVD-ROM)

    It is unable to read in the sense that it DO read the dvd but did not find any files in the dvd. Also the filesystem display below the screen still remain CDFS even though i put in a UDF burned DVD.

    I suspect that
    1) It is not able to read UDF Filesystem?
    or
    2) It is not able to switch Filesystem on the fly? As the SMS Disc i use is a CDFS Burned CD and it is unable to switch to reading UDF disc.

    So can any experts enlighten me to get it working?

    @Eon83: ...UDF is not supported by cdvd driver (with only exception of DVD-Video disks which, I believe, also have some kind of UDF)...

    Guys thanks for your reply. Because i already have most of my dvd burn in UDF format so i guess just have to wait for SMS to support it.
