    Hi!
I was thinking, if my pc recognizes my Sony Ericsson K790 cell phone as a "USB drive", my ps2 must do it as well, right? I connected it on my ps2 and selected "File transfer" on my cell to start sync and when I try to access my cell, it displays "Conection finished, unplug (or something else)" on screen and I can“t read files from there, I tried with SMS (2.8 rev. 5) both with older USB drivers and without them, and with Argon and nothing, neither Launchelf can“t access. Is there a way to get acces to files stored on my cell? I know this sounds kind of "weird" but could be great if it“s possible.
I hope someone can help me.
P.S.: my console is a 30001 model and forgive my english, I“m mexican

No! When you have a USB stick or MP3 player (in your case a cell phone), and you want to connect it to your PS2, is a matter of luck if is compatible or not, and since you said that it doesn't work, sorry to tell you, but you can't do anything for it to work!

How do you know, that it's a matter of luck? Where do you get that from?
I'm just wondering where you get the information.

that's based on people's experience with ps2 and usb thumbdrives. it's pretty random, and 3rd party stuff (no-name usb drives) usually works the best.

I've got a Nokia 8800 Arte and connecting it to the PS2 is no problem. After I plug in my cell phone to the PS2's USB port, my phone asks me what USB option I want to use (PC Suite, Printing & media, Data storage). I'm choosing "Data storage" and voila, it's media memory is accessible by all PS2 programs I've tried. I even listened to mp3's in SMS from the phone. Too bad SMS doesn't support 3gp/mp4, that would roxxor.
