    Hi,
i didnt used SMS for quite some time and now wanted to try the newest version... strange thing is that i cant change the network settings anymore... it is stuck to the ps2dev/host option and i cant change it so Samba. is this a bug? i tried several different releases and in everyone it is the same problem. but i used SMS before and i know it worked then. cant imagine why this shouldnt work only on my console. (i have a EU-Slim)

Do you have "Autostart Network" turned OFF in SMS device settings?

Do you have a valid SMS.smb config file in the same folder as SMS? (Check this, as the format of this file was changed to support multiple servers at some time in the past)

You need both of those before you can select the SMB/CIFS Network protocol.

For more info see the manual:

Thanks, it seems the smb file was kind of broken... anyway it works now, atleast i can choose the SMB as connection method, but now i cant get it to work with my OS-X samba server, it lists the shared folder but if i open it, it crashes the connection.
