Strange Error

Well, I've been "playing arround" with the latest version of SMS (1.3 with host alpha 3) and I have to say I'm admired how in such a short period of time it has evolved so much, very impressive work EEUG!

Anyways, during my testing sessions I've come across an issue and I can't seem to find any mention to it anywhere... strange. What happens it that I can play .avi files nicely (tried it from HD, Network and USB). The problem ocurrs when I try to play audio files, MP3 files to be more precise. When I try it, doesn't matter the source where the files are located, I get a "Unsupported file format" error... I don't understand what's wrong... has any1 got any idea?

I'm sorry if this question has already been discussed before or if this is a n00b question, but I really can't find any mention to this problem anywhere...

Simple, for now it's only Divx/xvid with (mp3/ac3 audio) avi files player...;-)
maybe in 1.4 release you may not be tempted to play one...

Oh ok... my bad... I had the idea SMS could play MP3 files already

It was a n00b question after all :P

Maybe with time we'll have a fully functional and open source Media Center for PS2
