I have copied the SMS.smb file onto my Memory Card. I have switched the Network Protocol to SMB. When I start the network support, there is no confirmation message or anything. it just return to the Options Menu for a while before it totally freezes up. Any ideas?

...there're some advanced network settings in SMS menu like 'autonegotiation', 'duplex mode' etc. Try to play with them...

i have the same problem and already tried to delete the cfg but still it freezes everytime i start the network support. any further ideas???

    my SMS.smb

    is

    192.168.1.100
    TOMATO
    PLAYSTATION2

and I have a Linksysrouter WRT350N which is at 192.168.1.1 as a gatway...

could it be the router which is the problem?

did somebody else have a similar problem?

    thanks

    update...

i now managed to establish a situation where i establish the network connection and can see the Windows network folder symbol, however i can not see any shares....

what i did is that i changed the smb file now to connect to the hard disk connected to the router so it looks like that

    192.168.1.1
    WRT350N
    PS2
    login
    password

any ideas why i can not see the shares even when it seems that i can connect?
