Sound is horrible in 1.7 rev 6.

First off, thank you SO much for adding 480p support. It really shocked me to see that it was added in this release. Now the problem is just that for some odd reason, the sound in any video I watch sounds like really bad quality and/or tinny...and this is happening on vids that sounded perfect on rev 4. Also, I find that this one tends to crash more often if you pause and unpause quickly, including on mp3s. Any way to change this? And yes, I know about volume control and everything.

EDIT: Ok, sorta fixed the problem, but now another problem occured. lol High precision mp3 fixes the sound problem, but now the vids skip a LOT. I'm viewing them off of my external hdd...it didn't skip before.

@JiZames: ...I'll check that, thank you. Btw., high precision mode takes more CPU resources that's why "the vids skip a LOT"...

you could try reducing the color depth to 16bit (under "player settings") if you havent already, in an attempt to reduce the vid skipping.

@all: ...try to get an updated .elf from my site to see if sound became any better in both modes (some constants were miscalculated indeed)...

Beautiful. Sounds absolutely perfect now. =) Now I can have the best of both worlds, progressive scan AND perfect sound. Awesome job, EEUG! Sorta off topic...but is 720p or 1080i a possibility in a future release? Not that I'm asking for it, just curious if it's possible.

EDIT: Another slight problem...if you hit Start in the first few seconds of loading a vid, it freezes the system up. No getting out of it without hitting reset. I think I should just begin posting in the bug report thread. lol
