    Hi there

Pretty new to this forum so i apologise for asking things that have already been covered

Basically am trying to play Pans Labyrinth, the subtitles work but are like this:
<FONTCOLOR12> Hello mate<FONTCOLOR12> or similar to that, is there anyway i can sort this out?

Also having an issue playing an avi file, just get a black screen but the file was fine on my pc. Any suggestions?

This looks like a very useful forum, really enjoying sms and all the other mods at the moment... i'm a bit behind the times

i think SMS only support standar srt subtitle, maybe your subtitle originaly in AAS or SSA format

...<FONTCOLOR12> tags and alike are not (and most probably will not be)supported (Are they standard? Who "invented" them? Where can I find detailed and clear specifications? It's not interesting for me to implement them. ). "issue playing an avi file" will not be resolved either as I don't have that damn "avi file"...

    Sorted the avi playing issue.

The subtitle files are correct, the correct words are shown but have the <FONT11222!!!> blah blah blah <FONT 112255color> around the words, its driving me crazy!! It seems as if sms is including the subtitle font setting with the text

I can send you the sub file if u like?

EDIT: Problem solved, the subtitles were written wrong, had the font code included. Just edited them out in notepad and now all is well
