I used "Sms media" as partition name and it worked. "video.avi" for the video file

I put sms.elf on the partition next to the video.avi ...

hope you get it to work too

    with the +AVI version
it works when i start sms.elf direct from launchelf
video starts, but freezes after a second (i think the problem is the avi)
with the +SMS Media version i still get the file open error.

    1. your welcome
    2. do you use the newest version of execftp (0.69 i think)?
if that not helps try to limit the upload transfer to 50k. (had that problem with 0.68), but first check if your using the newest one.

oh yes thanks to andreq by the way.

Easy way to get yourself a partition without having to run the DMS tool, is to run PGEN. It'll make a 128MB partition called PGEN 1.1 (NOT +PGEN 1.1). Then, with FlashFXP (www.flashfxp.com), you would enter the following raw command:

    SITE MNT /pfs/0 hdd:PGEN 1.1

Once it mounts that, go into the pfs folder, then into the '0' folder, and you should be in an empty directory, with only the folder Saves in there. Now you are in the partition ^_^ Pop your files in here, and once your done, input the following raw command:

    SITE UMNT /pfs/0/

Note ~ If you got the SMS version from ps2world.it, your avi file must be called video.avi.

    Hope that helps

P.S ~ If you're going to use the PGEN partition, you need to do a simple hex into SMS.elf. I'll upload my SMS.elf once I confirm that its working

    Edit ~~
    Initializing file context ...
Could not open file. Execution terminated

Someone care to help me out here?

As of right now you can't choose what videos you want to play, it could only play one at a time.
