I think SMS.smb must have "SMS" in caps and ".smb" in small. I cant think of any other reason why the option is not showing up at all. U'll have to get the option enabled first before we can start figuring out how to make it work with netdisk.

I have no experience with NetDisks so I cant help you there. Just play around with the config. For testing just give Everyone full access to the entire drive or something.

It would be really usefull for SMS to support the GUEST account on samba - that way the Landisk NAS NS347 from A-Tech would work. I too get the new networking icons to appear but no files/folder :-(...

you can fid more info about NAS, Landisk, etc with RDC chipsets at:
www*aroundmyroom.com/2006/11/26/landisk-how-to-fix-a-bricked-landrive-alternative-style/
and updates
www*station-drivers.com/page/landisk.htm
(replace * by dot)
of cours FreeNas is not avalaible for this devices, they nor run under Linux. This device works like a Win98 shared drive.
