well i can't open mpg with 1.7 version, it says wrong file format or something like that.

and i can't open .srt files manually, how can u do that? (not so..important) but just curious

to open srt manually, when you load your movie, istead of using X you use your circle button.

About MPG, well, it isn't impleted (yet). EEUG is working on that, but don't expect anything soon.

What I meant is to remember only the last movie played itself and its position. I know it would be asking too much to be able to callback the stop times of 20 videos.

yeah.but a question,does PS2 has such computing ablity to play RM/RMVB files?i've heard that playing rm files on PC need more powerful CPU than playing avi files of DivX/XivD.......

...well, I'm currently working with mp3 stuff (LAME, playlist randomization etc.). mpeg stuff is still in the "research" phase

@EEUG: lol, thought that you weren't "interested" enough with mp3 stuff:P But still, I like to see it coming

(Both mp3 and mpeg)

About that cpu thingy, beats me. Don't know about that.
