i was wondering if u could have a version of sms with built-in the usbd.irx. i have a version of usbd.irx but everytime i put it in the directories of sms in mc in order to load it, when i launch sms, it freezes at the "locating usbd.irx" screen.(i think this what it says). with the same usbd.irx the reality player works perfectly.
where can i find the latest version of usbd.irx?

I think it's illegal to distribute a elf bundled or merged with usbd.irx from a game (maybe not true for the nalpalm version).
But it's possible to compile my own version of SMS with already including my own usbd.irx too?

i am always talking about naplink version of usbd.irx and for usbd.irx files that i already own the games i took them from. as far as i know the ulaunchLEF is using the naplink usbd.irx. why not sms do the same? it would help a lot of people with this way.

USB is slightly modified in SMS for compatibility with specific memory sticks. A side effect is that only certain USBD.IRX work. I've only had success with the one from Gran Turismo 3 in mc0:/SMS. All other homebrew I run uses a newer IRX in a different location.

Can the "turn off" and "ps2 browser" combos maybe be a little more complex (R1-L1-Start-Select or something). And could Select-X refrtesh current directory (for disc swapping) as well as spin stopping after disc detection instead of after switching to disc mode?

Just wondering if some sort of sleep timer would be possible EEUG because if I'm watching a movie and I fall asleep I wouldn't want my ps2 to be on all night. It would also be useful in case its left on for other reasons. Perhaps a shut down on end of video option would work? Thanks for all your great revisions.

Dont know if that could work, I have problems with return to browser (never used that), but could be useful in some case to swap from SMS to HDloader for example...Dont know about consequences or if it will function properly...

Wouldn't be bad an idle timer 15-30 minutes...

Well, I would've suggested just removing them but figured some people may use them. I justg hate accidently hitting it when I can't remember what the buttons do

A return to boot.elf should work ok, if you use uLaunchElf program execution code or something when you do it (I'm not sure as my ExitProgram function that executes boot.elf uses ps2menu's method of running an elf so I don't know if it'd cause conflicts to do it that way).
