I've found a new bug in 720p only (eeug and pitrz must be tired of my bug reports :P), the subtitles shows up with a line above them, the line is about 1 pixel high but very noticeable over bright backgrounds. On the last version this line didn't appear and it only happens in 720p.
SMS v2.3 (Rev.1) –
Changelog for Version 2.3 (Rev.1):
- hopefully fixed display issues for 720p and 1080i video modes (background image is supported in all modes now)
(thanks to 'pitrz' for the implementation and 'D1abo' for the testing);
- fixed crash issue for 'ogg' files (thanks to 'vectis' for the sample clip);
Development is stopped due to summertime and upcoming vacations. I hope to resume it in the autumn
. Have fun!!!
best regards Jones23
@D1abo: ...I've updated it, so you can try it out again (I'm not considering this small fixes as development...
Currently, I've run out of Death Note episodes and don't have anything else to watch with SMS, but when I do, I'll test 'er out for you.
Thanks for everything!
That worked great, thanks.

What are you present width/height in 1080i and what was the video resolution when this happened? The "cut in half" problem is connected to newly introduced "magic number" which controls drawing delay. But this should have been ok with the numbers i've put there. I'll try it on my side with you settings.
The default width/height (1820 for width and 1018 for height), and this happened with all my videos but the resolution of some are: 576x320 / 640x350 / 800x336
I'll try it, thanks. Getting the right value is pretty much guesswork, but i thought i had it, as everything was working here, i even tuned the value to avoid the cut in half problem.
I will let you know.
@D1abo: ...thanks for pointing that one out. You can make another try by getting the update (I've also increased subtitle size limits)...
@pitrz: ...I think we can replace GS_VSync by GS_VSync2 in 'PlayerControl_ScrollBar' function to avoid this problem...
That solved this cut in half problem, but caused to appear an old one again , the triangle thing when you play a playlist, this time is more tiny but like before it increase in size with each song of the list, and in long one it's visible like before. The good news is that all this only happens on 1080i, 720p is perfect until now.
