It is that indeed.I inserted an old dvd with xvid files burnt be nero and it reads the original filename.I guess it has problem with the udf burnt discs?
That's the default setting. If I set Controller port 2 to anything, nothing works.

@therock003: ...never tried such a disks. I thought you were plaing tha clip from netwrok/SMB;
@pythonjosh: ...I don't know then. I've implemented that stuff a long time ago and the guy who helped me to test it on his PS2 with built-in IR sensor reported that it works OK. Here I can do nothing about it...
Nope dvd discs only!So what now?Can improvements be made cause now i'm burning all of my discs with iso+udf file systems and i need the filenames to be displayed properly.
Will you plz look into it?I'd appreciate it a lot.
"Can improvements be made": this is actually quite a big topic not related directly to SMS (a driver should be revised/rewritten (probably with unicode support as udf can (and probably does) use it) - a completely different thing). So, I'm afraid, I just can't do that physically in the near future...
I haven't had any problem with the Sony dvd remote, just with this new Universal Gamer, which you just made work in 2.2rev2. Instead of having a toggle for gamepad or remote, can you enable both input devices rather than the toggle?
@pythonjosh: ...I think we're not on the same page about it. What I did in the last version about remote control is that I've implemented another configuration option to map directional buttons (that on the left side on the Dualshock) into different codes. So, if you set that option to 'gamepad' then everything will work as before. I think I just don't understand your problem...
When gamepad is selected, I can use the controller and the sony remote like before. When remote is selected, I can use the sony remote and the Universal Gamer. For some reason the Universal Gamer will only work when remote is selected. Do you think you can allow input from the gamepad when remote is selected?
...finally I've got what you are talking about. Actually your gamepad works also, but directional buttons are redefined to work with your 'Universal Gamer', so they are just ignored . Of course it is possible to support both. I can't promise that it will be implemented right now, but I'll take your note into account (and maybe forget about it ))...
