...hi guys (and girls) . I'm about to leave now. Just a few words before for those who has problems with network stuff: I would advise to disable network startup (remove .cfg file if autostart is enabled by default) and play with new network options in SMS menu as autonegotiaton (default) might not work always (here it doesn't work, for example, with crossover cable and direct PS2<->PC connection). Good luck and see you again ...
I am using SMS 2.7 and subtitles just disappear (stop showing) after 20 minutes. Tested with different videos/subtitles. Also tested the same videos/subtitles on 2.4 version and they work perfectly.
EEUG has not shown any activity at psx-scene since the site was revived, so don't expect any speedy responses from him. We don't know if he's coming back at all...
Best regards: dlanor
A single site problem and eeug is gone? nahhhh... SMS is way bigger and stronger than that
...I'm not gone . There's just nothing to post at the moment.
@edea86: ...could you post your subtitle file that causes the problem?...
I'm glad to hear it. That's what we were all hoping.

SMS problem with RADHostClient –
Hi EEUG & All
I don't manage to use any network method other than using RADHostClient.
RADHostClient was written by Adam Gates, latest version is 1.8a, you can download it here:
However, I still experence a bug with this latest version:
If you shutdown the PS2 during playing of a movie the RADHostClient is stuck in reading state and doesn't go into disconnect state., (same problem if you use the auto-shutdown feature).
I tried to locate Adam Gates email in his web site:
but couldn't find it.
So I downloaded the source code of RADHostClient and did a workaround patch myself.
So If anyone experience the same problem and need this patch for RADHostClient - message me here.
Sorry if this question was already posted but can you add the support of 32bits color in 720p ?
Thank you !
MPEG1 not working –
I have several videos filmed with my sony dsc-w1 digital camera, they are all saved in mpeg1 format, till version 2.5 everything is fine, but now tested on 2.7 sms tryes to read it as a mp3 file making a lot of noise.
Perhaps you changed something in the file recognision system?
thank you very much, Peskin.
@john_matrix: ...I remember that question. This feature will require some fundamental changes, so it will take a lot of time to implement. I can't promise that it will happen soon.
@peskin: ...you can try to increase so-called "autodetection parameter" in SMS menu -> Player settings -> MP3 setting...
