skin does not work –
01-14-2009,01:56 AM
So I went to the SMS website. Downloaded the skin generator. Converted my wallpaper to a file with SMI extension. I renamed the name of the file to SMS. Then I copied it to the SMS folder on the memory card. When I booted to SMS, the skin does not load by enabling it in the browser settings. I tried changing the extension to both SMS and SKN but the skin still does not load. I tried renaming the file name to skin using all three extensions but to no avail. Tried it also with all uppercase letters but nothing still.
So... how do I apply a skin? The image resolution is 800x600 by the way.

You must place a folder named "Skins" inside your SMS folder and place the skin there

Oh cool! I'll try it now.
It works. Sorry for bothering you guys but it wasn't in the tutorial and I've been searching the whole site for a possible solution and didn't find one that's why I created a thread. Anyway, thanks man. My girlfriend will love what I did to her PS2.
