I dare to post my vision of cyrillic fonts - all tested.
Some of you may choose to set higher value (of 39-4) in settings / subtitle-height.
In the archive you will find cyrillic & ascii .mtf for
Arial Unicode MS
Arial Narrow
Courier New
MS Refference Sans
MS Sans Serif
Trebuchet
I believe these fonts provide nice characters, readable on screen.
p.s. Thanks for the great improvements of picture quality of SMS. I compare to version 1.7(2) - and it's just a huge leap!
