I don't think it is open source. It was all done by one person who never released the source. I think his name is Eugene Plotnikov. I love SMS, I use it all the time and it works very well, thanks to whoever developed it. But it has been some time since an update was made, I hope that if he is done with it he will release it for other developers to tinker with.
