RMVB to DivX? is it possible?

I've tried lots of programs but nothing will accept RMVB. I've got the codec installed and I can watch RMVB on my PC but I can't get anything to convert them to DivX so I can watch on SMS.

So far I've used:
Xilisoft
Virtual Dub
SUPER
ImTOO

didn't work either, even with the 'HelixSDK' it wanted me to install to be able to convert RM files.
If I open it in WinAVI and view it's details it just says "This File May be not a media file or a file tye we can not get information"

Even in SUPER it can't get any information on the file.

I had the problem then i found an app called "Boilsoft RM Converer v3.28"
It worked for me

Tried AVIsynth but it won't let me install, says avisynth.dll is in use, but how? can't get around that problem..

So I tried Boilsoft, but it only converts them to MPG, why can't I choose the greyed out options?

I tried "eo video", and it works well. But you might have to wait a while if you don't own a speedy cpu......-_-

Today i tried "Mencoder", and it is very fast comparing to "eo video".You can find some different GUIs using the same "Mencoder" core. Now it is my first-choice to convert tons of RMVB to Divx or Xvid!!!

You need to use virtualdub mod to create the avs scipt....It works perfect for me here ...I have converted huge amont of rmvb movie series
