its up to 2TB and HDL can handle 256 games ..

and i have heard that they can use it for watching Movies or Music etc ..
Yes, you can. The primary uses are to store media files for SMS, and installed PS2 games for USBAdvance/USBExtreme, but other uses include storage of emulators with rom file collections, and just about any other file storage needs you might have.
Apparently the limit for FAT32 is 2 TB, and since that is the filesystem we have to use on USB devices, there is currently no workaround for larger drives. But a future driver enhancement is in the works that should allow such drives to be split into several partitions. But the current drivers can only use one partition per device.What is the largest hdd that can be taken full advantage of?
