Question about SMS and usb pendrive

hello, I have a crystal chip installed on my slim ps2, IÂ´m booting SMS from a pendrive directly from BM and it boots just fine,, my question is, can I play a video that is on the same pendrive SMS is? or I only can reproduce videos on DVD or CD media?

I tried modifying some options on Devices settings, I checked Autostart USB, and when I click on Start USB Support, Locating USBD.irx appeared on the bottom of the screen and SMS hangs..

...with current version of CC software the only way to play files from media other than CD/DVD on slim models is to shutdown CC's module manager ('shutdown "MM"' statement in .pbt file) because of driver conflict. But in this case SMS can only be launched from memory card or cd/dvd...

IdonÂ´t know what MM does, I put the MM statement on APPINFO.PBT, and when I try to run SMS my ps2 restar and takes me to the memory card navigator,, the same happens when I run SMS from MC or pendrive..

...following statements in .pbt file launch SMS properly from 'mc0:/SMS' (note case sensitive names):

SHUTDOWN "MM"
LOADEXEC "EEELF" "moduleload" "-m rom0:SIO2MAN" "-m rom0:MCMAN" "mc0:/SMS/SMS.ELF"
