    http://techon.nikkeibp.co.jp/english...080807/156198/

    http://www.broadq.com/en/product_tour.php

    Cliff notes:

Qtv can process up to 720p resolution videos, supporting video encoding technologies including MPEG2, FLV (Flash Video), H.264 and DivX. To make the software support those video encoding technologies, BroadQ employed a technology developed by CoreCodec Inc of the US.

The Qtv system uses a server run by BroadQ along with the software on the terminal side. Using this server, the software can download and build up necessary metadata through online video distribution services and make Qtv display information on available online videos.

Haven't seen this in the stores, has anyone used this?

It kind of looks like argon. I wonder if they are doing the flv and h.264 decoding in the ps2 or server side. Guessing from the CoreCodec part it looks like they are doing it in the ps2.

Interesting program if it is real. If it does do what it claims to do then that means a highly optimized H.264 decoder for PS2 is possible.

CoreCodec distributes with "CoreAVC" one of the fastest software decoder available for H.264, may be this could be real.
    Slim PS2 SCPH-70004 (v13) w/ FMCB, 3x Sony 8MB, 1x MaxMemory 16MB (Backup card)

I'm not available for FMCB installation service until I can guarantee a processing time of a few days again, sorry.

It is available this Summer and you can now sign up for a free 30-day trial.

    When does "Summer" start?
