The coredump issues are not related to slash translation in any way. In fact, / conversion routine works exactly as it was intended to work. I located two mutually independent segfault sources. One of them seems to be some obscure stack screwup, and the other results from incorrect syscall. I think, they are both caused by some hidden differences between Cygwin and real Unix architectures. I made quick-and-dirty fixes (which by themselves may produce problems), but the proper clean way to do it requires complete reimplementation of at least the readdir request hook. Perhaps I gonna do this later.

I can ping it, flash fxp to it, and RHC works. My friend is using this with no issues, is there a setting that i have to change?
PS2ClientLoader (126) works like it should for me with SMS, but with uLaunchElf, trying to see host: gives no result (except if I manually start ps2client).
PS2AutoLoader (127), on the other hand, works for me with uLaunchElf, but not with SMS (until I start ps2client manually).
My settings in SMS are configured so as to autoload drivers/support for USB, HDD and network.
I have not changed any ping settings in PS2clientloader.
If it works with SMS then it will also work with uLaunchELF. I should know, because I'm the one who originally ported the host: interface into both those applications.

PS2ClientLoader can only arrange such contact after the server has been started on the PS2.
The result of this is that the first attempt to browse to host: in uLaunchELF always 'fails', so to speak, since that attempt merely results in starting the server. A moment after that you should see the tray icon of PS2ClientLoader turning green, and then you can retry browsing in uLaunchELF (just back to the browser root and retry host: ). This attempt should always succeed, as should all future attempts in the same boot session.

Now I know partly why PS2Client didn't work for me in LaunchElf. I had misunderstood the process of initializing host in LaunchElf in the way that I thought I needed to start Ps2Net before, and waited for that to do the trick. ..

I'm having problems accessing subfolders within a folder. It will go to C: Program Files for example but not go any deeper into the subfolder without freezing. Same if put the exact folder I want into the interface, freezes without going any further in the tree. Sometimes right folders show up, but when I press X to go in them, either a freeze or a long long delay. Any help?

Reason: added more info
I've got the problem that it does not show my directory's that I want to. I've chosen my C, D and E drive to be listed, but instead it shows my c:\documents and settings\administrator. Does anyone knows how to fix this? It's really annoying as you can understand

same here, although this only happends to me like every forth-fifth time or something.
