Here is the PS2Client Loader with multi-console support as well as a few other additions\changes. I also included the revision 2 of ps2client by dlanor. If you notice anything weird please jot it down for me along with any specifics to make it easier to fix. Thanks and enjoy.
Here are the changes for this release. Aside from random bug fixes I found
along the way, these are the major changes.
5.26.06
- Fixed ability to add root paths [ie. "c:\" or "d:\"] to share list.
- Control box [X] on top of form now closes the program instead
of minimizing it to the system tray.
- Added ability to take control of an already running instance
of ps2client.exe. Useful if you started ps2client.exe and started
listening to music or whatever and then decided to load ps2client
loader. (only works if opened with ps2client loader)
- Fixed problem of the deleting of share items even when not selected on
the share list when delete is pressed.
5.27.06
- Added color icons for the system tray to reflect status of ps2client.
- Fix Maximize\minimize in system tray menu.
5.28.06
- Resized share list
- Added a check for duplicate share adds.
5.31.06
- Started the multi-console coding.
- As of now it will support the use of 5 consoles which I think is plenty
for a household but if you need more I can compile you a copy that
can handle any number, all I have to do is change a constant variable
to a higher number.
6.03.06
- Finished multi-console coding

@vtecorona
just checked your new version .It is great. But i found the drag and drop of folder sometime fail in my Driver E ,it is so strange.Drive C and D is ok.
Are you getting the problem when dragging a folder into it or the root directory? Is it giving you an error or just not adding anything?

Hi, any chance of the source code please? Which programming language is it programmed in? Thanks
hmm.. i complied ps2client v3 for linux.. i wish to use it to connect to SMS to watch movies/listen to music from my linux box.. has anyone tried doing this? as i cant get it to work.. or could someone add some input on the syntax i need?
I have tried it and it worked great. The syntax is the same as the Win32 version, just use the parameters: "-h PS.2.IP.HERE listen" and it shoudl work.
nope that doesnt work, i can only see the directory where ps2client is executed from and go into the subdirs.. as soon as i click a movie file or music file to play the client exits giving a "segmentation fault" error and SMS just locks up
ok after some trial and error.. i have worked the issue out to be the ps2's interpretation of / as a dir instead of a file. I dont know how i could correct that in the source code. Does anyone know what i need to change in the source code to fix it?
Yes, I forgot to mention, it only shares the folder from where u execute ps2client, but it still works fine. Anyway, u can try the unofficial release that has been posted here on the forum.
