I cannot get SMS to detect my network. I've tried using RadHost and the built in SMB server but neither of those work. Any suggestions? The ps2 is connected to a switch which is shared by my computer.

Lots of things you can check..
First and most importantly, when SMS is running, Can you go to the cmd console from your PC and PING the Ip address of the PS2.. Do you get a reply..
Are you using a firewall or peerguardian, try turning it off temporarily to see if you get a connection..
Make sure you set an exception or an allow to the IP of your PS2 if this works to get your firewall to allow the connection to the PS2..
Have you set your network settings of SMS properly, try autonegotiate if a fixed net speed of 10 or 100 wont connect.
Have you set up your PS2 network settings in SMS as a proper fixed IP on your network, and on the same subnet..
Also have you entered the correct IP of your PS2 in the box at the top of Radhost Client..
Good Luck..
