DVD-video? You must be more clear than that. Are you talking about the Dummy DVD-video from the manual, or an actual VideoDVD (With vobs and stuff)

After decoding your message (Can't believe you got that in just 2 sentences ) But it looks like a bug or something. Can you say step by step of what you did?

my english isnt perfect so sorry Iam trying one thing. This is on site sms.psx-scene.com/eng/cdimage.htm (10. Go ahead and add some other files and folders now if you want, such as MP3's and videos... you might as well use the rest of the space on the CD.) Iam trying any AVI file to this CD image and It works good. If I exist dvdgenPS2 so its perfect a now step by step of my problem: 1) I burn DVD video with dummy according to manual with any files as AVI files, MP3 files and for the first time It works good. 2) For week later It doesnt works good. It load DVD video and it show icon beside title AVAILABLE MEDIA but It doesnt show files 3) Maybe I changed configuration of uLaunch or SMS player but I think so not. I use CD and DVD media Verbatim. Maybe that It will be that PS2 doesnt read DVD but CD yes. But DVD games read good. I dont know...

Try unstalling uLaunchElf and SMS complete (included configfiles of sms (don't know if uLaunchElf uses configfiles) and see if it works.

And if it doesn't, then I don't know what the problem could be.

don't use the dvd-video trick on a chipped console. there's a big warning notice sayng it probably won't work.

on a chipped console, just burn a plain old data disc, like one you would burn for your PC.

it doesnt work for modchips, cause they take over the disc recognition system (at least some do), and they tell the PS2 that everything is a data disc. therefore, it does not know how to read the video disc.
