Playback problem with certain xvid videos –
For some reason when I watch the show bleach (datebayo version) I can't rewind or fast foward. If I do video shuts off, this actually has been happening for a few versions now. So its not new to 1.8 rev 2. I just never remembered to post about it. lol

You're lucky it plays at all with that wonky interleave. Problems fast-forwarding or rewinding often have to do with bad indexes. You can quickly correct this problem (and the interleave) by doing direct stream copies (video and audio) in VirtualDub. Quality will remain the same.
Are you implying that these videos worked in old versions of SMS?
no actually the same problems occurred in older versions. They worked just that I couldn't rewind or fastfoward. I might as well just watch the show on the comp since I would have to use virtual dub for every episode of the show I watched.
Right, but you could do all of these in batch in like 40 seconds (especially since there's no re-encoding of any stream)
I've noticed this as well, in the most recent episodes of Eureka Seven released by Nanashi. It seems like the file loads, but doesn't load any indicies like it does for most files, and then take quite a bit longer to play the file. If I try to fast forward or rewind it just closes the file. I'm assuming this is probably just a fault in the way the files were encoded, because all the others work fine.
That's the thing about Dattebayo releases. Their Naruto episodes experience the same problem. Sucks having to watch the same intro over and over...
